Ferroalloys
Ferrosilicon (FeSi)
Ferrosilicon has many applications in Steel Production and Casting. It contributes to an increase in Hardness and Deoxidising properties but also causes improvements in Strength and Quality of Iron Steel Products. It is also used in Steelmaking as Deoxidiser, Slag Reduction Agent and as Fuel and also as High-Silicon Cast Iron as it can accelerate Graphitization. Using to Manufacture Inoculants and Nodularisers can give specific metallurgical properties to the final products produced, which can be:
- Stainless steel: for superior corrosion resistance, hygiene, aesthetic and wear- resistance qualities
Carbon steels: used extensively in suspension bridges and other structural support material and in automotive bodies
Alloy steel: other types of finished steel

Ferrochrome High Carbon (FeCrHC):
Ferro-chrome is added to steel to impart properties of Hardness, Strength and making it Stainless. High Carbon Ferro Chrome produced from higher grade ore, is most commonly used in specialist applications such as engineering steels. high on Cr content and low on impurities such as silicon, phosphorus and titanium. The end product of the use of high carbon Ferrochrome is stainless steel, which is used in construction, transportation, mechanical engineering and production of industrial pipelines, as well as consumer goods.

Ferro Silico Manganese (FeSiMn):
Ferro Silico Manganese which is obtained thorough manganese carbotermia and using quartzite as a source of silicon, is used as a steel deoxidiser. It can be used as a substitute for Ferro Silicon and Ferro Manganese when added to make different types of steel. The contribution of manganese allows obtaining low carbon level steels which produces fine steel with a high grade of purity. This alloy is mainly used as an additive in cast iron production process.

Ferromanganese High Carbon(FeMn HC):
FeMn HC is used as Deoxidiser, Desulphuriser and Degasser of Steel, to eliminate Nitrogen and other hazardous elements that are found at the first melting of Iron. It also improves mechanical properties such as Hardenability and Abrasion resistance fromspecialSteels.
